I am Charlotte GAUVRY, the primary investigator of the project, and a Research and Teaching Assistant in Philosophy at the University of Bonn, Germany, Center for Science and Thought. My current research focuses on phenomenal consciousness, with an emphasis on higher-order representationalist theories of consciousness. I pay special attention to disorders of consciousness and cases such as hemispherotomy. I am Uwe PETERS, post doctoral researchers at the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence, University of Cambridge, and Center for Science and Thought, University of Bonn. My research includes the application of AI for lesion detection and informed clinical decision-making and app-based solutions for clinical diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy in the global south. I also work on the blood-brain barrier in neurological diseases, post-lesional neuroplasticity, and islands of awareness in people after hemispherotomy. |
