I am Charlotte GAUVRY, the primary investigator of the project, and a Research and Teaching Assistant in Philosophy at the University of Bonn, Germany, Center for Science and Thought. My current research focuses on phenomenal consciousness, with an emphasis on higher-order representationalist theories of consciousness. I pay special attention to disorders of consciousness and cases such as hemispherotomy.

I am Uwe PETERS, post doctoral researchers at the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence, University of Cambridge, and Center for Science and Thought, University of Bonn. I work on epistemic and ethical risks related to AI systems (e.g., algorithmic bias), cognitive biases, and the question of machine consciousness

I am Theodor RÜBER,  an attending physician and clinician scientist at
the department of epileptology at the University of Bonn Medical Center, where I
lead two research groups for translational neuroimaging and global epileptology. My
research includes the application of AI for lesion detection and
informed clinical decision-making and app-based solutions for clinical diagnosis and
treatment of epilepsy in the global south. I also work on the blood-brain barrier in neurological diseases, post-lesional neuroplasticity, and islands of
awareness in people after hemispherotomy.
